Characteristics
■ Saving energy characteristic
● The conductivity of the aluminum wire is 63%IACS, and the conductivity of the hard drawing aluminum wire is 61% IACS. So the aluminum wire can save about 2% energy. In the same transmission condition, the loss can reduce about 3%.
■ Light weight, large overall breaking force value, low sag.
● The current-carrying capacity of ACCC / T W conductor in 150℃ is 1.5 times that of ACSR with same area in 90℃.
■ Can be operated up to 180°C
● Lowest sag among the HTLS category due to lowest coefficient of thermal expansion and higher strength to weight ratio.
■ Highest Conductivity Conductor.
Values based on following Specifications
• 1350-O tempered aluminum wires as per ASTM B 609 or EN 50540
• Hybrid carbon and glass fiber core (Composite Core) according to ASTM B987
• ACCC® Conductors are required to exhibit lay lengths (ratios) that conform to ASTM B 857 or EN 50540.
